Ok, so we have talked about Expro's features and some of the benefits of using it. Here is some information about the technology behind it.

Exproruns on most server operating systems and databases, and integrates with a large number of supply chain systems such as SAP. Furthermore, it can integrate with existing infrastructures and access control systems (such as Microsoft Active Directory) to support single sign-on and centralised user management.

Expro runs in any standards compliant web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox), and so does not require any plug-ins or additional desktop applications. This makes it simple to deploy across the organisation and also to suppliers and other business partners.

Expro's flexible and open database structure means it can support very large datasets by design. A wide variety of assets can also be stored such as PDF product data sheets, MS Office documents, images, movies and audio files.

Expro can export a final dataset in XML format for easy integration into whatever channel-specific application is used to present product data.
