Expro has been designed to maximise the benefits of Product Information Management. Here is an overview of the product features;
We appreciate that retailers are structured very differently. This is why Expro gives the flexibility to decide both the information that is stored as well as the way that it is stored. This includes the customisation of;
Expro allows product information to be stored in the languages of the countries in which the business trades. Furthermore, key translations can be stored, saving time and money by preventing the repeated translation of the same information across different parts of the business. This also improves the consistency of the terminology used between countries.
Expro also provides the facility to flag complex information so that a translation company can log-on and efficiently translate product information so that it is ready for publication. This increases the speed and reduces the cost of the translation process, as well as facilitating the simple publication of multi-language information across mediums. All changes are monitored via an audit trail facility.
Information within Expro is moved through a series of states; from 'Not Started' to 'Published'. This allows users to collaborate, piecing together information from various different sources, before it is released for publication. In order to make this process manageable, users can use a workbook to manage the workload.
Sometimes published information can be inaccurate. How many times has a supplier provided information that turns out to be wrong? This can be problematic once it has already been published across the business.
Expro allows users to raise alerts on information that they think may be inaccurate. A message is then sent to the author, who can then respond to the alert. The user that created the alert is then informed of the outcome. All messaging takes place within the application, diminishing reliance on using email addresses. Users can also view a history of the alerts created on the account.
More importantly, a full audit trail of changes to product information is provided.
Ensuring that product recalls are dealt with effectively ehances your legal complaince proceedures. This is why product recall alerts can be displayed on the Expro homepage to ensure a rapid response.
Exprohas an Open Database structure, meaning that management level information can be shared with business intelligence tools (eg reports that show the number of new products currently in the pipeline).
Always losing POS tickets? Expro has a graphics tool that allows tickets and decor to be produced at point of sale. The template is customised to the business' needs so that graphics contain the information that has to be displayed. For more complex requirements, this facility can be made available to third party printers who can use accurate product information to produce décor.
Expro displays up-to-date pricing (including price history) and availability information (this includes local availability, distribution centre, next delivery date and quantity). This information is extracted from the back-end system, so no duplication of effort is needed. If extra information specific to the business is required then Expro will include this where possible.
Exprocan be integrated with upstream systems (such as enterprise resource planning) to give users across the business a sneak preview of what new products are coming. Inevitably, this will help to answer customer queries about new products and also aid planning.
As Expro is a web based solution it can be configured to give secure access to third parties. This may include suppliers, photographic agencies, media agencies, translators and franchisees.
Upload a picture to Expro and the image size and background will be adjusted automatically.
